Orient Paper Inc. (NYSE AMEX: ONP) (“Orient Paper” or “the Company”) is one of the leading and rapidly growing paper companies in Hebei Province, China. Established in 1996, HBOP initially directed its efforts on manufacturing packaging paper at its first small production line with an annual output of 3,000 tons. Today, HBOP has expanded to 5 production lines and serves over 100 packaging company customers and printing companies with a diverse product offering, including corrugating medium paper, high-grade offset printing paper and medium-grade offset printing paper. HBOP has a total annual capacity of 280,000 tons with over 600 employees by the end of 2009. With the new corrugating medium paper production line under construction since April 2010, total annual capacity of HBOP will reach 640,000 tons by 2011. HBOP enjoys close proximity to the greater Beijing area, a major paper consumption market in northern China. With its eco-friendly paper manufacturing process, HBOP has become one of the most rapidly growing paper manufacturers in Northern China.

Baoding Shengde, established in June 2009 as Orient Paper’s wholly-owned subsidiary in China, recently acquired two digital photo paper coating lines and commenced production and sales of digital photo paper in March 2010, which signifies Orient Paper’s strategic move toward higher quality products going forward. Trade mark for digital photo paper is “光影 Shadow”, which was obtained by Baoding Shengde in June 2010.
